This tungsten vein deposit in the southern part of Hunan grasped collector’s attention. In the last years for a sequence of outstanding mineralogical outcomes. Among these we have beautiful sharp Scheelite xls up to 3 cm in size. Scheelite from Yaoganxyjang occur most of the time associated with Quartz, Fluorite, Arsenopyrite and Ferberite. Xls are sharp octahedron, beautifully developed, of black, brown or grey color, shiny and sometime semitransparent. The samples we present in this page come from a remarkable high quality find of May 2004 . Most of Scheelite xls are of 1.5-2 cm in size, perched on Quartz xls and associated with spray of small scheelite and sometime fluorites. Beautiful specimens!
