In this page we present you a selection of a Iveland classic :Yellow Beryl xls from Brattekleiv occurrence Iveland, Norway. Yellow Beryl xls in Brattekleiv are well developed with remarkable size and a typical pale to deep yellow colour. Sometime some xls have gemmy portions. Xls surface is shining and some xls show nice complex terminations. Xls occur embedded in Quartzite and K-Feldspar matrix with minor muscovite. Xls size may range from few cms to 1 m maximum. . Extremely good specimen of Yellow Beryl xls on matrix are quite rare to recover in Brattekleiv. By the way the area is still open to collecting (provided to get the proper permit from the land owner) and potential for additional findings is still possible. A typical association with Yellow Beryl of Brattekleiv are nice Columbite, Ferro-Columbite xls and Monazite. In this gallery nice miniature and small cabinet specimens are offered . The measures are length x width.
