Farøess island are worldwide famous for their wonderful Zeolites occurrence. A lot of Zeolite species may be collected at Farøess but for sure the most remarkable occurrence are those of Chabasite (probably the world best), Levynite (as well) and Thomsonite (Farøeslite). Unfortunately due to their remote location, specimens from Farøess are seldom seen . A very good large miniature composed by a lot of small white, perfect and shining Chabasite xls (max. 0.5 cm in size) growing on Basalt matrix .The crystals cover all upper surface of the specimen in a nice showing.
