In this page we offer you a selection of a Spessartite Garnet occurrence from Tveit, Evje, Norway. Well crystallised garnet in the Evje- Iveland district are not frequent. The Tveit occurrence is probably the best of the district .The xls have a deep red or red brown colour with well developed faces and are embedded in Quartz or alkaly feldspar matrix . Xls size may range from few mm to max 4 cm maximum. Larger xls are quite uncommon. Extremely good specimen of Spessartite Garnet xls on matrix are quite rare to recover. In this gallery nice miniature specimen are offered at a very interesting price. The measures are length x width.
