In this page we offer you a fine selection  of a classic from Norway, Polycrase xls from Frigstad, Iveland Area, Norway. Polycrase xls in Frigstad, Iveland  are relatively scarce. Xls having a deep dark - brown colour occur embedded in feldspar or quartz  matrix .. On the break they show  metallic luster. Xls size may range from few mm to several cms but well developed xls are extremely rare. Most of the time only portion of xls may be observed.  The largest xls observed in Frigstad, Iveland pegmatite  are over 3 cm in size but in general xls from 1 to 1,5 cm are more common. Complete Polycrase xls on matrix are quite rare to recover. In this gallery nice  small miniature and miniature specimen of this rare-earth mineral  are offered at a very interesting price.  All the specimens come from an old Norwegian collection now dispersed. A good specimen composed by some black elongated  Polycrase xls  embedded in  pink  Feldspar matrix. The larger crystal is about 1,7 cm in length.

Good miniature composed by  two main dark-brown not terminated Polycrase xls in Feldspar matrix.   The group is about 2,5 x 1,5 cm in size.

A nice specimen with asome dark brown Polycrase well developed  xls embedded in a Feldspar matrix. The larger xl (1.0 x 0.8 cm in size)  shows a good termination.

A single miniature with a main  Polycrase xl of dark-brown colour on feldspar matrix . The crystal is about  1,5 cm in size.
