In this page we offer you a selection of the classic Yttro Titanite occurrence from Knipane, Iveland Norway. Ytrro Titanite xls of Knipane are well dveloped with a typical deep brown colour and often twinned. Xls size may reach 4-5 cm but xl of 1-2 cm size are most common. They occur embedded in black quartzite matrix often a the contact with biotite masses. In this gallery nice miniature and large miniature specimens are offered. The collecting locality is completely filled with water and actual collecting opporunities rely on the old dumps nearby the main quarry. The specimen in the gallery come from a n old norwegian collection. The measures are length x width.
